Delta.g is harnessing the power of gravity and quantum technology to improve navigation and transport conditions. Its portable gravity gradient sensing capability accurately detects ‘buried’ features below surfaces from their gravity profile alone. This world-first offers a cost-effective technique for measuring previously impossible environments, unhindered by noise sources.

Head of Operations

Connor’s expertise lies across life sciences and quantum technologies, with a specific interest in the application of engineering solutions to develop commercial products in these sectors. In addition to his role as Head of Operations at Delta g, Connor is also COO at STL Tech, a Deep Tech venture builder and innovation consultancy.

Head of Engineering

After seven years’ experience in cold atom research, Jonathan co-founded Delta g to develop commercial gravity sensing technology. Jonathan’s background in optics and quantum research includes a Research Fellowship at the University of Birmingham’s Quantum Technology Hub in Sensors, Imaging and Timing, where he was part of a team whose work, which marked a world-first in the field, was published in the Nature journal and led to the founding of Delta g.

Andrew is an experienced researcher with expertise in precision metrology, quantum technology and cold atoms. In 2020, he undertook a Research Fellowship at the University of Birmingham’s Quantum Technology Hub in Sensors, Imaging and Timing, where he was part of the team whose work in quantum gravity gradiometers led to Delta g’s founding.
