STL is leveraging its deep sector expertise as a venture builder to unlock the true value of innovation. Working alongside a network of investors and service providers, its strategic commercialisation process helps its customers build IP-led businesses that are viable and sustainable. It does this by applying streamlined entrepreneurial capabilities, in-house engineering and end-to-end due diligence for ventures bringing new technologies to life from basic concept to prototype demonstration, enhancing their growth and scalability.
Kelpi is tackling plastic pollution by developing sustainable alternatives to single-use plastic packaging. It uses seaweed to create a unique bioplastic coating that provides a world-leading water barrier for new-generation packaging while being recyclable, biodegradable, and low carbon. By working with major food and drink, cosmetics and home care brands, Kelpi is already reducing reliance on fossil-fuel plastics and paving the way for a greener future in these industries.
POM Health sought to achieve better healthcare outcomes by empowering both patients and clinicians. Its mission was to bridge the gap in patient-doctor communication by providing holistic, trend-level data to meet doctors' needs and workflows for better diagnosis and care. POM Health is no longer active.
